Praise Assembly is a local body of believers that is founded on the Word and focused on people.
We are founded on the Word of God because, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). Therefore,it is our aim to base everything we believe and practice on the Word of God.
We are focused on people because we believe this is the heart of God. It is also the example we witness in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. He reached out to all people regardless of gender, race, age, or social status. It is our desire to follow this example and be a local church that welcomes and reaches out to all people.
Praise Assembly also proudly sponsors the following ministries:
Safe Harbor Counseling Center (SHCC) is a faith-sensitive non-profit provider of mental health services to the community. SHCC exists to provide affordable professional care for the psychological needs of children, adults, couples, and families. Their highly trained and experienced staff of licensed psychologists and professional counselors are available to provide psychotherapy, counseling and a variety of testing services. A sliding-scale fee schedule is available for qualifying families.
Redemption Ministries provides Biblical counseling, education, training, and assistance to hurting and addicted people and their families so that they can live victorious lives through the Lord Jesus Christ. Our goal is to see people equipped to live a healthy lifestyle so that they can, in return, glorify God by helping others and giving back positively to the community and the church. The Higher Ground Outpatient Sustance Abuse Program is committed to serving those in need of substance abuse treatment who freely chose to receive clinical services in a Biblically-based supportive environment.
